The end of the season

It's getting to be fall outside, which means cold and wet up here. It's dark too. This weekend will be our final push to finish the basement floor before it becomes too cold to paint it. That means, I have to clear out my sewing room. I'm not going to post the before pictures yet. It's still too traumatic for me. I don't understand how this room got so far out of control.

The plan for this room though, is to paint the floor (not all of it as this room is also the furnace room and I don't plan on paining anywhere near that) paint the cement wall, install another shelf and rod, go through all my supplies and do a giant purge. Maybe hang some art and put a few lamps in there. This is one half of my AT cure project this fall- the other half is my upstairs office.

I'm kind of glad that fall means house projects for somebody other than me too. Good luck with your sewing room and all that painting! And keep us updated, this sounds like quite an undertaking.

Well, we're getting snow tomorrow--so it could be worse! Looking forward to hearing about your progress.
