What would happen if the table were centered on the orange wall-hanging (or vice-versa, whichever is easier to move)?
I couldn't sit at the end of the table. The orange wall handing can't move, it's covering up a large built in (that I hate). See, I have an issue....
With the two existing pictures so large, you do run the risk of overcrowding, so I'd go with something substantial (not puny, since it's between two big pieces) but which doesn't take up too much horzontal space. Something long and narrow, or a long, narrow column of several things - I'm seeing something sculptural, rather than more art/framed/flat pieces.
Aaaaahhhhh. I should have guessed that you'd have thought of the obvious already. In that case, I concur with Mella that something long, narrow, and sculptural would be the way to go. How do you feel about architectural salvage?
I love salvage! I hadn't thought sculptural. Thank you!
