Since school got out on the 6th of June life has kicked me in the butt over and over again. First, Max got the flu. While my brother and Aunt were visiting. Then, he gave it to me. I unfortunately, kept it. I kept it for so long (over 3 weeks) that I ended up in the ER. When the flu was finally done with me, we set up at an antique show (sold a TON) and then went on a mini vacation over to Wisconsin to see a friend of mine I hadn't seen in over 20 years..... more on the trip later....
I outran those very dangerous storms that hit Chicago by mere hours but by the time I got home we were in the middle of a heat wave with no A/C and no computer as mine finally died.
We bought a new a/c unit and yesterday I got my new computer. With Windows 7. There is a learning curve with this that I hadn't counted on.
More soon now that I'm up, home and logged in!

welcome back! good luck learning the ins and outs of your new machine. I've got a new camera on the way and so will be experimenting with technology myself in the next few weeks!
I can't get my pictures to load out of my camera......arg. what kind of new camera? I have to buy a new one as my old Kodak is getting cranky~!
