Load 16 tons, and what do you get....

ok. NOT 16 tons. But I've put a bit over two tons of rock in the borders and garden beds this year alone.  It was a daunting task....but one I am so happy that I did. I find that the beds look neater and cleaner than with mulch. I did about half the front yard beds last year and they worked out so well that I finished the front, and did the side and back gardens. Now, let me tell you there is still a TON O WORK to do. Next year I'll need to tweak some plants and do the final bed which is a shade garden under a tree in the front yard. But I'm hanging it up for this year. I have a few more large rocks to move tomorrow and I am finished.  Here is some of the latest pics of the back yard. I will post more at the end of the week when it's all finished....
