and it was in my sons mind. We had winds of 45 mph here yesterday-in Michigan! Trees were snapping, all sorts of things were flying around the yard and we were out of power for almost 12 hours! It's days like that when I am glad my folks live just 2 miles down the road. I was able to take them the contents of my fridge so it didn't go bad and we had a dinner with lights over there. I decided not to stay the night though- it wasn't that cold and our dark house was a little like camping...
Luckily, my power came back on last night, but the neighboring community didn't have any power today and had to cancel school and Detroit got pounded- over 100,000 without power and over 80 house fires last night.
