I'm considering a living room change.... need some comments....
Because I have too much on my plate as it is, I'm considering a cosmetic change to the living room.
We are going to re do the living room soon- in a year or two- and that includes removing the fireplace wall, new walls, ceiling, and floor. It'll be a big, expensive change for us. I'm looking at something smaller for my project.
I'm thinking about painting that wall of brick. Any comments? Ideas?

Go for it! If you're planning to rip it out later anyway, there's no danger you'll ever want the unpainted brick back.
